Wayne Houchin is an American artist and magician whose work has been featured on TV shows, newspapers, magazines, and in theaters around the world. He’s traveled the globe - sharing his original Magic in more than 40 countries, he was a guest speaker at Oxford University and host of the Discovery Channel’s international hit series Breaking Magic.

Stephen Long (aka Hector Chadwick)

Hector Chadwick is the pen name for mentalist and writer Stephen Long. A frequent collaborator of Derren Brown’s, he has co-written groundbreaking TV shows such as The Great Art Robbery and The Push, as well as publishing his own book of mentalism routines - the highly acclaimed Mental Mysteries of Hector Chadwick. He doesn’t often lecture for the magic community, and we’re very excited to be able to present his first lecture in years here at the London Magic Convention.

Mat Ricardo

Mat Ricardo is, according to The Scotsman, “Undoubtedly one of the greatest variety artists working today”. His 35+ year career saw him learn his craft as a street performer in London’s famous Covent Garden, before travelling the worlds theatres, cabaret clubs and festivals, advancing and redefining his artform to become one of the most critically acclaimed and successful speciality acts there is. He is, to quote the London Evening Standard, “Breathtaking”. His groundbreaking work merges physical and verbal comedy, storytelling, dance and, of course, his trademark spectacular feats of circus, magic and dexterity, all presented in a unique cocktail of cool, slick honesty.

Jonathan Goodwin

Jonathan Goodwin has been called “the closest thing we can boast to a real life superhero”, and “the worlds greatest theatrical stunt performer”.

Jonathan has been hanged, buried alive, locked in a box while covered in 200,000 bees, attacked by sharks, bitten by rattlesnakes and hung from his toes from helicopters. Jonathan has performed on every continent except Antarctica and in every US State except Alaska. Goodwin has played Broadway, London’s West End, Sydney Opera House and Radio City Music Hall.

In 2021 Jonathan was involved in an accident while rehearsing a stunt for American tv. The accident left Jonathan with horrendous injuries and resulted in him being permanently paralyzed from the waist down. Now retired from stunt performing Jonathan has turned his attention to writing, presenting and being a roll model (pun intended) for both disabled and able bodied people alike.
