Central London’s only magic convention is set for another fantastic year.
Three amazing lectures from Magic Stars will be announced very soon.
'The London Close-up Magic Competition' will return and someone will win the ‘Anthony Owen Trophy’ as well as the highly coveted title of ‘London Close-up Magic Champion’.
As if that isn't enough, there will, of course, be the cream of magic dealers and the smash hit of last years convention, ‘The £4 Gala Show’ will ensure you leave the day on a high.
All this for only £65.
Tickets for last year sold out in four days, so book asap to avoid disappointment.
Last year Edward Hilsum was crowned the first ever ‘London Close-Up Magic Champion’.
Could you win it this year?
As well as being crowned 'The London Close-Up Magic Champion', the winner of the competition will also receive the ‘Anthony Owen Trophy’.
Anthony was a much loved force in British magic. Since his untimely death he has been greatly missed. He was a dear friend of our family and we are honoured to award the winner a trophy in his name.
There is only one rule - all acts must be between 8-10 minutes.
If you overrun you will be disqualified.
Entry to the competition is free for all attendees of the convention.

There will be 10 spots available to ANYONE who wants to do a 4 minute set.
BUT HERE'S THE CATCH, if your act comes in at between 3 mins 45 seconds and 4 mins , you will receive a Certificate, the hefty sum of £4, and the respect of all your peers.
If, however, you go so much as one second under or over the 15-second 'Cash Zone'...you get nothing! A timer will be running and the audience watching, leaving the performer as the only person unaware of what time they're at.
There is one new rule for this year…your act must end with these exact words - “…and that is the end of my act!”
Apply NOW!
The 10 spots will be drawn two weeks before the convention, and we'll email you to let you know if you made it onto the bill.
So get practicing, as the most creative act on the night will also win a mystery prize!
